Fraud Awareness - Presented by the FBI

Description

The FBI will be providing a fraud awareness briefing which covers numerous fraud schemes affecting the Houston area. The FBI will provide background on the fraud and show ways to identify and prevent the fraud.

Supervisory Special Agent David Ko joined the FBI as an agent in 2010. Previously, he had worked as an FBI intelligence analyst and as a scientist researching neurobiology. SSA Ko has worked on squads investigating organized crime, violent crime, and cyber. He still maintains a number of certifications in forensics, incident response, and hacker tools and techniques. Most recently, SSA Ko became the supervisor over one of the FBI's white-collar crime squads investigating fraud, money laundering, and virtual currency.
